TI-92 Section
Features
I decided to make a list of some features not in the manual and some features in the manual, but not widely known.
Features not in manual:
- Check ROM Version From the home screen, press [F5], [Diamond], then [(] to enter an information mode. It should say version 1.11 to indicate the ROM version number and have the date next to it. To enter a self test press S. Beware, this will reset your calculator. Press [2nd]+[Quit] to exit out of this.
Features in manual but not widely known:
- Activate APD To activate the Automatic-Power-Down feature press [Diamond] Then [ON].
- Reset the calc Press [On]+[Hand]+[2nd](Next to Esc Button) all at the same time and hold them for about 1-2 seconds. This should reset the calculator to it's condition from the factory.
Tutorial
I have found information about learning Fargo on ticalc.org. After I figure it out, I will have a tutorial section.
Extender uP
I have now recieved the PIC from Bryan Rittmeyer. I will built the Extender uP as soon as I get the rest of the parts. I only see 2 minor obstacles. That would be making the circuit board, and getting the memory chip. I don't really see those as problems, just obstacles. More info to come soon.
Future of this section
Well, that's it for now. From this point on however, I will probably either direct this site towards the TI-92, or I will aim it at the interaction between the TI-92 and the TI-85, like I did with the Tetris Discovery. Actually, it wasn't really a discovery, I had read it a long time ago, but I couldn't find any info on the subject recently confirming it.
Update: The page I found it on was Jimmy Mardell's TI-92 page. He created both tetris's.
